Description: cream silk crepe de Chine with pearl trim - vertical row of pearls extend from midriff pearl cluster to both shoulders - vertical row of pearls extend from waistline to hemline along each side - pleat extends from center front waistline to hemline - white crepe belt covered with pearls. (d) Veil. Material: textile and pearl. Description: white net caught in a cap effect with pearls (one broken pearl). (e) Belt. Size: 3" W. x 27" L. Description: white crepe. Worn by Ruth Leonard McLinn youngest daugthter of John McLinn when she married Gerhard F. Nicolin at Sacred Heart Church, Waseca 6 May 1914. She carried a bouquet of lilies of the valley and white sweet-peas. A five-course wedding breakfast was served at the home of Mr. & Mrs. E.O. Herter, sister & brother-in-law of the bride.
