Waseca County, Minnesota and other States Postcard Album. 11 1/2" x 9 1/2" x 2 5/8" black post card album; cover "Post Cards" printed in gold leaf; contains miscellaneous postcards and photographs displayed on 52 black pages with slits in the pages to hold the cards; many empty pages; many photos have Waseca County connections; other Minnesota locales include Mankato, Lakeville, Faribault, St. Paul, Minnetonka, Minneapolis, Kasson, White Bear Lake, Stillwater, and Owatonna; others are Culver, Indiana; Niagara Falls; Grand Canyon; Huron, S.D.; Eau Claire, Wisconsin; Mexico; Muskegon, Michigan; Portland, Maine; Winnipeg, Manitoba; Yellowstone Park; So. Framingham, Mass., France.
Album cover and binding in poor condition; photographs and postcards in excellent condition; many color lithographed postcards; black and white photo postcards are in excellent condition. Only Waseca photographs scanned into collection and start with Accession 27.89.15; donor, Anne Olson, bought the Hawkes home at 607 N. State St., Waseca, and found this album in the home. Hannah Hawkes was the daughter of Charlie Hawkes. Hannah worked as the secretary to E. A. Everett at the EACO Mill.
