Acc. #2000a is a spool end day bed brought in by Dick Sandberg of Janesville, Minn. The trundle bed was used by his grandfather, Otto Arnoldt. Dick Sandberg was on the Waseca County Historical Society Board of Directors from 1961 - 1979, Vice President of the Board in 1972 and 1973. Dick has brought in some very remarkable items. Most important is the wood bison skull (Acc. #2874) which has been authenticated by University of Minnesota experts as being 8000-10,000 years old.
