Description: white cotton flannel with French seam down center; hood-shaped with double fabric hem around face opening and neckline; back of hood is gathered into neckline hem; 2" W. x 7" L. peach silk ties for tying under chin; 7986 printed in black ink inside cap.
From the Al Hensel estate donated by his daughter, Arlene Hensel Jabs and Raymond Jordan Jabs. Arlene Jabs was daughter of Al Hensel. Benjamin Heinrich Hensel was an evangelical minister who lived in Waseca and who served many parishes in Minnesota.
