Material: textile. Size: 40" square. Description: black wool yarn - 2 1/2" L. fringe all around - basket weave black on black pattern - floral and wheel black on black border pattern.

Woman's Accessories. Note with shawl: "This shawl belonged to Mrs. Michael Hausauer, mother of Mrs. Fred Laudert, grandmother of Mrs. Burton Hansen. May be between 130-140 year old." (This appears to be a mix-up of shawls since this particular shawl does not look more than 30 to 40 years old at present; 1989.)
