Material: textile. Size: 5" W. x 19" L. Description: white cotton knit rectangle - machine edged all around - three narrow white cotton tapes at one end to be tied to three narrow white tapes in center seam - designer's label inside band: "Vanta Binder. Pat. July 7014".

From estate of Myrle and Blake Patton. Note: "Probably worn by Patton boys when small". Commonly worn by infants to protect the navel area where the umbilical cord was severed until it healed.
