Material: textile. Size: 12" W. x 14" L. Description: white cotton - loosely crocheted open pattern - design filets of one rabbit, two crosses and several diamond shapes - bordered with 1 1/2" L. fringe.
From Fred Quade estate, Alma City, Minnesota. All articles from the Fred Quade estate were bought at auction by Violet Panzram and presented to the museum. Note with item: "Antimacassars were used on backs of chairs to keep the macassar oil that gentlemen wore in their hair from staining the upholstery."
