Crocheted Dust Cap. Material: textile. Size: 11" W. around back of cap x 18 1/2" L. around face of cap. Description: ecru silk knitted cap, 6" W. circular lace design at crown, 1 1/4" W. lace edging around face opening of cap; spaces for adjusting ribbon around face opening (missing).

All linens catalogued to the Leuthold estate were used in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Leuthold and given to the museum through the courtesy of the Leuthold children, Dorothy, Joy, Finette and Jack. Charles Leuthold married Josephine Preston on October. Worn by older ladies in the 1880s.
