U.S. Army WAC uniform, #62.88.1,3,4. (b) Skirt. Material: textile, metal, rubber. Size: 26" W. x 25" L. Description: brown wool lined with brown cotton - flared calf length - 1 1/2" W. waistband - left side closure with zippe and one 3/4" W. waistline button in a 7" L. placket - stamped on zipper tape in black ink: "F 715 695".
Waseca County Military. WWII. Women's Army Corp (WAC). Issued to and worn by Beatrice Grace Fairley (W.A.C. stationed in Washington State during World War II). She was a non-commissioned officer in the U.S. Army, 9th Service Command, Technician 4th Grade.
