Collection Title: George Ericson/Eugene Iverd Papers. Collection consists of an oil sketch (a) with background overlay (b) and typewritten description (c). (a) Oil sketch. Size: 4 1/4" W. x 5 1/4" L. Description: paper mounted on poster board signed on lower right corner of board: "Eugene Iverd", lettering on sketch "Ladies' Home Journal" with "n" obscured by head of subject: little girl in red skirt and white blouse walks through field with small dog with a peach colored background. (b) Overlay. Material: clear acetate, blue with lettering: "Ladies Home Journal". (c) Typewritten sheet describing painting. "The spirit of happiness, Little Tom Boy of 6 or 7, head thrown back whistling. Her hands in her pockets she is striding lightly along through the glorious sunshine.
