Woman's Elgin Pendant Watch. Material: glass, metal. Size: 1 5/8" diameter case. Description: gold circular case with raised floral pattern on front and back; front case opens to display clock face with Roman numeral hours, identified as an Elgin watch #5458587; engraved inside back case cover: "#541755" and scratched jeweler's "#43"; engraved on outer back case cover: O.W.C.Co. crescent and star trademark and case # as above; scalloped edges on case.

Belonged to Orilla (Child) Goodspeed (d. 1948), mother of Frank, Henry and Claude. Her husband was county sheriff and served in the House of Representatives. (Acc. # inside outer case back.)
