White Linen Napkin and Hot Pad Case. Material: textile, asbestos. Size: 7" x 7" closed envelope opens to 9" W. x 22" L. Description: white linen case contains square asbestos pad - white bias tape trimmed with embroidered blue feather stitching on envelope tabs - closure with one 3/4" W. mother of pearl button - blue French knots in the shap of a "B" on outside tab.

From Myrle and Blake Patton estate. Although note with this article states that it is a napkin holder, the asbestos pad makes it appear to be a biscuit warmer or some other hot dish cover.
