Brass Fragment. Material: metal. Size: 1 3/4" L. Description: brass; decorative fragment; oblong; two punched holes. Possibly the base of trigger guard of British firearm. Reworked into the beginnings of a pendant. Circa 1790-1810.

Tinkler. (a-c) Material: metal. Size: 1/2" diameter. Description: brown colored brass; flattened sphere; metal loop for attaching to clothing. Native American brass tinklers, bells used for trade items. Ho Chunk or Winnebago.

Pottery Shard. Material: pottery. Size: 1 3/4" W. x 1" L. Description: brown/black fragment; one side blackened with heat. Was attached to a collection card: "Museum of Waseca Chapter No. 565, A.A., Property of J.F. Murphy." Catalog description card (in script) reads: "Fragment of pottery found on North Shore of Clear Lake Waseca Co., Minn. Oct. 18th, 1885."

Description: gray paper frame with picture cut-outs punched in paper; white yarn cross stitch embroidery in the paper perforations around the edge and around the picture cut-out edge; gray stitching holds sections together; blue ribbon loop hanger on back.

Bison Skull. Material: bone. Size: 5 1/2" x 13" x 30". Description: large aged and petrified bone skull identified as bison or buffalo; presents as the top half of skull; extends to the area of the eye sockets; includes both horns; red stain on forehead.
