Woman's Carved Wooden Glove Box. Material: wood and brass. Size: 3 3/4" W. x 11 1/2" L. x 2 1/2" deep. Description: brown and gold rectangular box with hinged lid; Christmas holiday holly leaves, bells and ribbon carved motif on box and lid; small brass latch front closure; pencil writing inside lid: "Orilla from Aunt Julia, Xmas, 1906" and "Hds for boys and Geo." Stamped on bottom: "Schwab 92."

Note with box: "Aunt Julia was J. E. Child's sister. Gloves belonged to Barbara Goodspeed." Box held gloves Acc. # 90.87.10 a-h.
