"Persons destroying gophers shall take the tail of streaked and gray gophers and the two forefeet of pocket gophers to the Town Clerk's Office on the fourth Monday in June next and the Town Clerk and Supervisor shall then count such tails and feet and pay each person for the same pro-rate according to the number of gophers destroyed provided they shall allow 5 times as much for a pocket gopher as for the other kinds."
