Description: a) green painted sheet metal hollow block letter "B", reverse side contains electrical mechanism and strip lighting with dark electrical cord extending from the top; b) green painted hollow letter "R" with mounting screws on reverse; c) green painted hollow letter "O" with mounting screws on reverse; d) green painted hollow "underline dash" for mounting under the "O" and with mounting screws on reverse; e) green painted hollow letter "N" with mounting screws on reverse.
These letters were mounted for years identifying the Brown Printing Company, on the exterior south side of the building facing Brown Avenue. The signage was removed in 2014 when a new company, QuadGraphics purchased the printing business. All of the letters, except the letter "B", are located in the lower level of the museum storage area in 2015. The "W" is unboxed due to size and located in Row 4, Sec. F, Shelf 3, in space 18.
