Christian Paulson courted Evangeline Johnson who later married in the Lemond Township Pontoppidan Lutheran Church. They became and were long time members of the LeSueur River Lutheran Church in New Richland Township, Waseca County. Their farm was located in Steele County along the east Waseca County, Otisco Township line. Their daughters were Della Paulson (Mrs. Gordon Tollefson) and Elaine Paulson (Mrs. Wayne Haug).
