Tan Work Navy Uniform 1984-1992. Material: textile, plastic, metal. (a) Shirt. Size: 20" x 27" L. Description: tan cotton short sleeve shirt; one pocket on each side; button front; on right side of shirt: "Surface Warfare Office School Command" logo on left side of Teschke name badge; on left side of shirt: gold metal US Navy Surface Warfare Officer breast insignia; Navy & Marine Corps Commendation Ribbon; Navy E Ribbon with silver metal "E" in center; National Defense Service Ribbon; Armed Forces Expeditionary Ribbon; Navy Sea Service Deployment Ribbon with two stars in center; silver metal captain lapel pin on each lapel. (b) Pants. Size: 18" W. x 42" L. Description: tan cotton pants; pocket on either side front and back; zipper front. (c ) Hat. Size: 4 1/2" W. x 11 1/2" L. Description: tan cotton hat; silver metal eagle pin and captain pin.
Uniform belonged to Craig E. Teschke. Craig was a Navy Lieutenant from 1984-1992. The Teschke family lived at 913 3rd Avenue SE, Waseca, MN from 1965-1977.Craig was born 9 March 1962 graduated in 1984 with a Civil Engineering degree and a rank of Ensign in the Navy. He was commissioned as a Naval Officer in Newport, RI. He served in the Navy in Charleston, SC, Jacksonville, FL, Dunoon, Scotland, the Persian Gulf and Newport, RI, he retired from the service in 1992 as a Lieutenant. Craig died 9 November 2013.
