Olga Johnson Hofdahl was born in 1887 in New Richland Township to A.D. and Kari Knutson Johnson. She was the mother of Mary Stromsedt, Virginia Puffer, Margaret Bergmann, Tony Comas and Walter Best Jr. She was the sister of Kaia Haatvedt and the half sister of John E. Johnson, Agnes Halvorson, Emily Haug, Helen Haug, Irene Kreuzer and Chester Johnson.
