Emily and Caleb Haug are Waseca County natives who later resided in Owatonna. They had four children, all born in Waseca County: Avis (Mrs. Alfred Kampen), Marjorie (Mrs. Jack Bartels), Donald Haug and Wayne Haug. Avis Kampen resided in Waseca her entire life, Marjorie Bartels lived with her husband and two boys in Owatonna until moving to California in the 1950s; Donald joined the Air Corps and was lost while piloting a plane during World War II; Wayne married Elaine Paulson and lived in Owatonna until moving to California in the 1950s.
