Description: matted and framed painting of a 1925 Red Reo firetruck, the first motorized firetruck to be used by the Waseca Fire Department; picture painted and reproduced by Richard Plasschaert, southern Minnesota wildlife artist; signed in lower right corner: "Plasschaert".
The Richard Plasschaert painting was presented to Robert Johnson, member of the Waseca Fire Department for 35 years and chief for 17 years. It hung in the home of Robert and Gwen Johnson for many years before being donated to the historical society.
