Silver IOOF Medallion (ODD Fellows). Material: metal, textile. Size: 2" diameter medal x 12 1/2" L. cord. Description: silver toned metal medallions suspended from heavy red and white neck cord; top shield-shaped medallion engraved on front: "I.O.O.F" and three link symbol with and letters: "FLT"; silver toned metal circular medallion hanging below shield; engraved motto on both sides: "We command you to visit the sick, relieve the distressed, bury the dead and educate the orphan"; engraved on front: I.O.O.F three link symbol and letters: "FLT", an open Bible; reverse side: two figures and symbols and the words: "The Sovereign Grand Lodge of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows 1834".
