The Powell residence later was destroyed by fire. The Carol Powell, Richard Wobschall wedding took place at Sacred Heart Church, Waseca, at 10 a.m. on August 31, 1957, officiated by Monsieur McShane. Carol had just turned 18 three days before the wedding and Richard was 22.
