Five Row Quack Grass Digger. Material: metal, wood. Size: 81" W. x 91" L. x 52" H. Description: iron frame holds numerous iron shanks tipped with narrow, tapered points used to target quack grass, removing entire plant so upended roots can dry out in the sun; one iron spiked wheel on each side of frame; short wooden tractor hitch tongue on front.
Accession book makes note of three Quack grass diggers all with accession number 2194. Note with item: "Purchased in 1900 by August Smith."
