Blue Graniteware Cream Pail. Material: metal, wood. Size: 9" H. x 5 3/4" diameter. Description: (a) blue and white swirl pattern enameled pail; heavy wire bail extends through turned wooden handle at top; bail attached at each side through metal eyelets riveted to pail; (b) blue graniteware domed lid with top knob fits tightly inside pail rim.

Used by Mrs. D.E. (Emma Bierman) Perrin in the 1890s and later. Used when milk was delivered in bulk to each doorstep.
