Hat Stretcher. Material: metal, wood. Size: 6" x 7". Description: wooden oval; metal turn handle in center; holes in metal handle; 6 3/4 engraved on wooden oval.

Janesville business: Werdin and Schmidt Clothing, Furnishings & Shoes. Hat stretcher used in the Werdin and Schmidt store. Werdin and Schmidt were located in the Miner Building (Heritage House) and went out of business in 1968. The donors are the daughters of the fathers that owned Werdin and Schmidt.
