Seed Potato Cutter. Material: wood, metal. Size: 15" x 21" x 42" H. Description: iron cutter mounted on wooden frame; stamped on iron: "Potato Cutter Aspinwall Patens, Aspinwall Mfc Co, Jackson Mich, 104 N"; wooden handle extends at top; four wooden legs.

"Seed Potato Cutter. This ingenious invention was used to prepare potatoes for planting. On most farms the kids were assigned this duty with the admonition, 'Be sure there is at least one eye in every piece.'"
