Doll Family. Material: plastic, textile, metal. (a) Woman. Size: 1 1/2" x 5". Description: tan string closely wound around wire to form movable body and limbs, pink plastic hands and head with painted face and hair, black plastic shoes, floor length blue print dress. (b) Man. Size: 2 /12" x 5 1/2". Description: same body construction as (a), dressed in gray polyester pants and blue counterpane shirt with red tie. (c) Girl. Size: 1" x 3". Description: same body construction as a,b, dressed in red print floor length dress and red plastic shoes. (d) Boy. Size: 1 1/2" x 3". Description: same body construction as a,b,c, dressed in brown pants with suspenders, white shirt, red belt and bow tie. (e) Baby. Size: 1 1/4" x 2 1/4". Description: same body construction as a,b,c,d, dressed in blue counterpane gown, white lace cap, red plastic shoes.
Furniture goes with the dollhouse built by Howard Deichen for his sister Ruth before many homes in Waseca County had electricity. Redone by Leslie Gasner in June 1990.
