Sewing Machine. Material: wood, metal. Size: 30" x 41" Description: dark hardwood cabinet on cast iron frame; fold-down wooden tabletop; wooden case printed "Domestic" covers a black metal sewing machine; under tabletop: four stacked wooden drawers on left side, black iron treadles in center and black iron belt wheel on right side.
Sewing machine brought to the museum by Dick Sandberg. This 1869 sewing machine belonged to Abraham Willis, parents of Ed Willis. Dick Sandberg was on the Waseca County Historical Society Board of Directors from 1961 - 1979, Vice President of the Board in 1972 and 1973.
