Rocking Chair. Material: wood, textile. Size: 21 1/2" W. x 40 1/2 H. Description: dark, finished wooden frame, padded back and seat; red, white and blue fabric.
Rocking chair owned by Mrs Robert (Anne) MacDougall. Mrs. MacDougall was an early settler in Wilton Township. She passed away in 1932. Robert and Anne were among the settlers before Minnesota was admitted to the Union. Anne was from Canada and Robert was from Scotland. The original caning replaced by plywood covered with red, white and blue fabric. Former caned back is broken.
