Ed Bevens and his sister, Effie Bevens Nelson grew up at 515 6th Ave SE, Waseca. They were the children of David and Armanda Bevens who settled in Waseca County in 1856. After WWI service, Ed left Waseca in his Model T Ford for Stillwater, Minnesota where he worked for the Stillwater State Prison. Effie Bevens Nelson is the grandmother of Charlotte Jenson.
