Pictured: Jennie Devereaux or her sister Amy Devereaux; note from donor: ". . .I compared the copy of this photo. . .of Jennie Devereaux Shell, and this young lady with all the photos attached to her dress, and I feel this might be Jennie Devereaux at a later age." Follow-up note from donor: "I have attached a newspaper clipping, June 6 (year unknown) which leads me to believe the young lady in the photograph with all the photos attached to her is Amy Devereaux. Amy Devereaux was the daughter of Marquis L. Devereaux and Harriet Cummins Devereaux, born in 1874. . . there is a small photo of her sister Jennie Devereaux, attached to her dress, on the collar, just under her chin."
