Artificial Orange Blossoms. Material: wax, textile, metal. Size: 5" W. x 16" L. (largest spray). Description: white wax elongated cluster of flowers along a main stem with each flower on a short stalk to give the appearance of orange blossoms; green starched fabric leaves and stems reinforced with wire attached along stalk. (Several smaller clusters stored with main cluster.)
Wedding memorabilia was stored inside a shadow box and included a wedding veil, wax flowers and a wedding photograph. Frank Krueger and Mary S. Breilein of New Richland were married June 25, 1893 according to the Waseca County Marriage Records. Faux orange blossom traditionally used by brides was part of Mary's headdress and possibly Frank's boutonniere as shown in photo #7918a.
