Used on the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad. Gas key used to light the gas lights in railroad baggage cars & coaches. The large hole was used for the baggage car lights, the inside piece is bent so we know pressure was put on it. The smaller hole was used for lights in the coach. Glen Bell was a brakeman and conductor on the Chicago & North Western for 33 years. He retired 17 December 1979. Among the runs which he worked on was the last run of the "400", the last passenger train in Waseca, on July 23, 1963.
