Grand Lodge of Minnesota IOOF Medal. Material: textile, metal. Size: 2" W. x 4" L. Description: gold colored medal bar stamped "Minnesota"; red silk ribbon suspended from bar; ribbon imprinted with three ring friendship symbol; circular gold medallion hangs from a gold link attached to the red ribbon; lettering on the medallion: "Grand Lodge of Minnesota I.O.O.F. Instituted May 5th, 1853".
Waseca organization: Independent Order of Odd Fellows (I.O.O.F.), a secret society for the mutual aid and benefit of the members, originated in England in the 18th Century. Odd Fellows Waseca Comee Lodge medal given to Brother Napoleon Peter Dewey for 46 Years of membership (1916-1962). Dewey died August 14th, 1962.
