Comee Lodge Fraternal Ribbon. (a) Ribbon Badge. Material: metal, textile. Size: 2 3/4" W. x 8 1/2" L. Description: reversible silk fabric (red on one side black on the other) stamped "Comee Lodge, No. 25 I.O.O.F. Waseca, Minn."; gold metal fringe; three connected gold medallions attached, Ist "Comee Lodge, No. 25" 2nd, "Member" 3rd, "I.O.O.F." and three links symbol. (b) Box. Material: cardboard, metal. Size: 3 1/2" W. x 28" L. Description: brown cardboard - 4 metal staples on each corner.

Waseca organization: Independent Order of Odd Fellows (I.O.O.F.), a secret society for the mutual aid and benefit of the members, originated in England in the 18th Century. Worn by Waseca Odd Fellows Comee Lodge #25 during funeral ceremonies of deceased members.
