Hodgson Pipe. Material: Briar, metal and unknown pipestem material. Size: W. 1/1/4" x L. 5 1/4", Description: has been smoked, mouthpiece chewed, briar shape, inscribed "Frank Medico Real Briar". Silver metal band separates shank from stem. Hole in bottom of bowl.

Hodgson Collection. Prior to accessioning, the number 114 was printed in white ink on the shank. Note in Hodgson's Smoke Rings book: "No. 114 On permanent vacation. It looked good but was too thin."
