Antoinette "Nettie" Miller Everett Portrait. 3 3/4" x 5" black and white oval portrait of Antoinette Miller Everett, also known as Nettie, daughter of Charles Miller, a Waseca merchant; and wife of Edward Addison Everett, owner with his father, William Everett and J. W. Aughenbaugh, of the EACO Flour Mill in Waseca. She was the mother of William Rinehart Everett and Constance Everett. (Album 1 photo 1a) See accession 66.01.228.
The donor is the great-grandson of William Everett, co-founder with Aughenbaugh, of the EACO Mill in Waseca County. The Everett home, built by William's son Edward Everett, overlooking the east end of Clear Lake, was a showplace in its time, a classic Victorian-style home, it was demolished in 1958 it was an architectural and historical loss to Waseca County. This photograph is from one of the Everett family albums.
