Baby Girl Portrait, Lawin and Mellby Studios. 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" black and white oval portrait photograph of a baby girl; unidentified; wearing a white dress with square neckline and lots of eyelet lace; appears to be about one year old; posed sitting on a wicker chair; photography stamps of both A. J. Lawin and G. B. Mellby, Waseca, Minn. are blind embossed on lower left and right of dark gray matboard.

Donated by Dakota City Heritage Village, Farmington, MN 55024, (Dakota County); collection of 32 photographs were originally donated to them by Bob Curtis, a descendant of the Olson and Kinn families of Lakeville; and other unknown relatives in Waseca.
