9 1/2" x 7 1/2" photograph of a New Richland residence, the Torkel Lund family standing outside their home. There are 14 individuals--3 men, 4 boys, 4 women and 3 little girls, all dressed in dark clothing. The boy at the far left is playing a violin. The cabin is very rough-looking, part clapboard, part log construction. The trees are bare suggesting early spring or fall season. The ground is bare around them. There is an old iron stove outside the left end of the cabin and grouping. (Photo found in the Goodspeed exhibit of WCHS.) Photographed by L. P. Peterson, New Richland, MN.
