Found in John Martin Family File. Floyd Martin married Margaret “Maggie” Honbries or Haubris 13 January 1878 in Waseca county.They had three sons Hubert Martin, George E. Martin and Charles Martin. In 1899, Margaret and Floyd moved from Janesville, MN to Stearns county and settled on a farm in Avon. After three years they sold their farm and moved to Waite Park. Margaret died 19 September 1929. George E. Martin born 29 September 1884 in Janesville, MN. He lived with his parents in the village of Waite Park until his marriage to Agnes Blezi in 1915. They had a daughter Maggie and a son John Joseph. George died December 1937. Charles Franklin Martin was born March 1893 in Smithville. In June of 1893 he fell out of a wagon and broke his arm. In October of 1897 Charlie had decayed bone removed from his legs by Dr. Corry. At age 20 he became an invalid due to a back injury he suffered in his youth. He was cared for by his parents in Waite Park then in 1919 he moved to an apartment in Minneapolis and was cared for by his cousin Mamie M. Steabner. Charles died July 1959. Mamie M. Steabner born 31 January 1897 in Wood Lake to William and Elizabeth (Haubris) Steabner. She taught school for a couple of years and in 1918 moved to Minneapolis where she was an apartment manager and caretaker.
