Description: red, white, blue and gold enameled metal disk - blue border with gold border print: "American Red Cross Volunteer" - red enameled cross centered on a gold starburst against a white background - reverse side: straight pin and catch - stamped on back: circular logo above "Sterling".

Waseca County Military - WWI. Red Cross. Given to Mrs. Jens T. (Anna) Dahle for knitting sweaters in WWI. She was a prodigious knitter and made many beautifully knitted garments. Donor is her grandson. Accessioned in 1969.
