Material: textile, metal. Size: 7/16" W. x 3 1/4" L. Description: multi-colored grosgrain ribbon wrapped around rectangular metal bar - two segments: blue, white, red and gray vertical stripes on one side; red, white green, yellow and black vertical stripes on other side.
Waseca County Military - WWI. The soldier was in the 1st Army, likely in the 52nd (division); indications that he worked in transportation symbolized by the "T" on the collar dog and the wheel on the right sleeve patch. U.S. Army Uniform, #1.98.400. This bar was pinned above left breast pocket, next to the Victory Medal on U.S. Army blouse.
