Description: wooden box - hinged cover - top border of decorative squares - Gothic monogram could be "HPHS" (Hans Peter )- framed, removeable framed mirror inside cover - three interior compartments for holding straight razors and blades. Immigration.

Made for straight razors. Handmade by Hans Peter Bergum in Norway about 1865. Brought to America in 1876. Donor is grandson. Immigration.
