Spanish American War Canteen. Material: metal, textile, cork. Size: 7 1/2" diameter x 3 1/2" D. Description: brown canvas over metal - circular water container - brass ring holds chain with cork end - two triangular rings attached to upper sides for leather shoulder strap measuring 1 1/8" diameter - stamped on one canvas side: "U.S." and on the reverse side: "B 14 27" with a graphic: crossed rifles.
