Description: multi-colored grosgrain striped ribbon wrapped around metal rectangle - three segments: (1) white, red and blue represents Bronze Star; (2) yellow, white, red and blue represents the Asia/Pacific Campaign Medal; (3) red, blue, purple, yellow and white represents the WWII Victory Medal - two bronze stars on center ribbon - reverse side: straight prong pin and pressure cap on each end - worn above left breast pocket of U.S. Marine Uniform blouse #7.91 blouse.
Waseca County Military - WWII. Marine uniform worn by Dr. Robert Collins.He served in the Pacific and in the Battle of Tenian and Saipan, Okinawa, Occupation of Japan. Discharged March 20, 1946. Left college at Iowa State, Ames in his senior year.
