Dear WCHS Members:

Please be aware that the Waseca County Historical Society website will be undergoing updating and the addition of new pages over New Year's weekend. We expect to be up and running by Tuesday, January 2, 2012.  The format will look a little different, and we hope that it will provide even better service and a positive experience as you research online.

Joining and supporting WCHS should be easier also. We thank you for your patience.

Waseca County history for all generations--

Appropriations that we rely on for WCHS Operations (utilities, buildings, insurance, supplies, services and staff) are eroding primarily because of state cuts to LGA (Local Government Aid). This is happening to city and county government, and is reflected in cuts to community services and organizations such as WCHS. You can help make a difference now.
